The International Festival is a free day of family fun that celebrates the many cultures that make up our community. We feature international foods, music, dance, artists, vendors, storytellers, activities for all ages, a multi-language area, and a cultural fashion show featuring traditional dress. Our attendance numbers are currently around 6,500 people and we are accessible to disabled individuals and older adults. This is a rain or shine event.
Festival attendees want to savor the unique flavors and aromas that your culture’s food provides. Promote your restaurant or cooking skills by joining us at the festival as a food vendor.
We need the most creative International artists and import vendors from the Shenandoah Valley and beyond.. Festival-goers will be intrigued and enraptured by the goods assembled by local artisans and cultural stores. Show off your handicrafts at our festival by signing up as a vendor.
Do you have a business that needs promotion or would you like to expose your services and products to a larger audience? We invite you to learn more about the International Festival and to become a business sponsor.
Have you been to the festival and want to join in the fun of making this event happen? Embrace the beauty of the Valley's many distinct cultures by donating your time at the Harrisonburg International Festival as a volunteer.
Hands-on interactive experiences, art activities, storytelling, and games make the Festival a big hit with the whole family. Find out how you, your organization, business or school group can enrich the most important component of the festival, education.
